I have had constant low back pain and hip pain along with numbness into the leg and foot for a very long time. I was told Sciatica and a bad disk in my low back was the cause of the problem. I could not sit, walk, stand, or lay down without severe pain. Injections and surgery had been recommended but I wanted to avoid that procedure if I could. I know many people who have had surgery and the pain came back with even more problems than before. This is when I called Carolina Therapeutic Massage, Sabine is very knowledgeable and experienced in massage therapist. She started to work with neuromuscular trigger point therapy in my low back, buttocks and hamstring area, she knew exactly what to do. After about 3 or 4 sessions my pain had decreased considerably. After about four months of therepy I am now pain free and have been for over a year. I am now able to do everything I used to do and more. People should not be so quick to take pills or do surgery!

I’ve had trigeminal neuralgia since 1993. Following brain surgery, the nerves regenerated and the intense pain returned. Since Sabine started neuromuscular massage therapy on my face and neck in 2004, I’ve been able to avoid drug therapy completely. Her skill finding the trigger points and her willingness to make extra effort to work me into her busy schedule during periods when the trigeminal neuralgia has been irritated by harsh weather or other aggravating factors have allowed me to live a more comfortable life for the last six years. In 2007 I was diagnosed with 2 bulging discs in my neck. After a round of physical therapy, I was told if the pain returned I would most likely have to undergo surgery. In late 2010 the pain returned with a vengeance, this time not only affecting my neck, but also my right arm and bringing with it a severe case of radiculopathy. I was determined to exhaust every avenue available before going under the knife. In desperation I turned to Carolina Therapeutic Massage. With Sabine’s guidance, Rossiter Therapy was chosen as my means of treatment. After going to Sabine on a regular schedule for Rossiter Therapy and continuing to do the exercises prescribed by the physical therapist, I am now pain free and have avoided the surgery I was dreading.
