Bowen Therapy -- Bowen is based on the principle that our bodies are self-healing and with the right stimulation, our body can return to a healthy state. Bowen is a manual therapy whereby gentle moves are performed over various parts of the body. The response from these movements is an activation of the nervous system where signals are sent to the brain. These signals made by the Bowen "moves" begin the healing process. Bowen is very gentle and does not require inflicting pain or force to achieve results. Instead it's working with the body's own electrical circuits to speed up the healing process.
